I have been a history and archaeology buff for as long as I can remember! My undergraduate degree is in History from Sweet Briar College with a minor in archaeology. In 2019 I received my MA from Tufts University for History and Museum Studies. At both programs, my coursework focused on the ancient world and the history of archaeology. I was accepted into Manchester’s (UK) online MA Egyptology program and University College of London but had to decline due to lack of funds. My lifelong goal is to bridge the gap between the academic world of Egyptology and popular knowledge of it. I plan to become a curator of Egyptian antiquities. Past internships include Curatorial Internships at the Fitchburg Art Museum and the Amerind Museum and Research Center. Teaching experience has focused on leading Osher Life Long Learning Institute study groups through Tufts University. Completed courses include The Egyptians: Facts and Fallacies and The Mummy: Truth or Fiction? Currently, I am contemplating my future thesis and dissertation.
