David Pepper
David Pepper & Jill Taylor-Pepper are a husband & wife team with a lifelong interest in Ancient Egypt. They have visited the land of the pharaohs numerous times and first met as volunteers at the 1987 Rameses II exhibit at the Denver Museum of Natural History. David was also a founder of the Denver-based Ancient Egyptian Study Society, and both David and Jill served on its Board of Directors. The Egyptian Study Society is still in operation after almost 30 years, and holds monthly lectures about Ancient Egypt at the Museum of Nature and Science. David has presented many lectures about Ancient Egypt around the Denver-Boulder area, and Jill was the former editor of the ESS publications, The Ostracon, and Scribe’s Palette. David is a retired Aerospace Engineer, and Jill is a retired Petroleum Reservoir Engineering Analyst. David and Jill both currently serve on the Board of Trustees of The Amarna Research Foundation, a fund-raising organization that supports excavations and conservation projects in Egypt.
